JOB DESCRIPTION FITTER / WELDER / ASSEMBLER LEVEL AREPORTSTO : MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR FAB SHOPDUTIES ANDRESPONSIBILITIESLevel A is the highest level for theFitter / Welder / Assembler job category.
045 flux corewire Weld with .035 .045 hard wire and 1 / 16 flux corewire Capable of some tig welding Fixturesetups and basic open table setups Ability to read andunderstand complex blueprints with weld symbols and written workorders that accompany every job Cut parts fromblueprints and detail Possess the math skills tocalculate angles centerlines and other equations required toaccomplish fit and weld tasks Be able to use a torchset Be able to build girders without help from anexperienced persons on setup of girders Be able toassemble cranes Must be able to fill out daily timeslips accurately for labor reporting purposes Mustcleanup around machine and work area everyday Must doroutine maintenance as instructed by supervisor Responsible for manufacturing parts within the routedtime frame or notifying the supervisor if the work order timeand / or sequence of operation on the work order isincorrect Must have own tools that accommodate setupwelding cleaning and measuring for all phases of operation.
Mustprovide own helmet lenses and all hand tools required to accomplishtasks. On occasion other job duties as assigned by yoursupervisor.
